Why It Looks Like That is a static educational website about TV picture quality and calibration. The site is intended to be read like a reference guide. It does not require an account, login, purchase, newsletter signup, or comment system.

This policy explains what the site itself does and does not collect. Hosting and security providers may process limited technical information needed to deliver the website.

Information this site does not collect

This site does not intentionally collect personal information from visitors through forms, accounts, analytics dashboards, advertising trackers, or embedded social widgets.

There is no user registration, no checkout, no membership area, and no comment box on the site.

Contact messages

If you contact the site owner by email, the information you choose to send may be used to read, respond to, and keep a record of that message. Do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your request.

Email is handled by the email provider used by the sender and recipient, so those providers may process message metadata and content according to their own policies.

Hosting and technical logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, request time, requested URL, caching activity, routing information, and security events in order to deliver pages, prevent abuse, and maintain service reliability.

These logs are not used by this site to build advertising profiles.
